KDTree Geometry Helpers
-----------------------

These helpers are internal extension points for point-cloud crop queries.
They operate on absolute XY coordinates and return point indices. Ordinary
users should call :meth:`easyidp.pointcloud.PointCloud.crop` or
:meth:`easyidp.ROI.crop` instead.
